We are very excited to host Sue Brown from 'Botanical Knitting by Sue' in her Botanical knitting and Embroidery Workshop.
Sue is currently traveling around Western Australia so we reached out to see if she had any availability to do a workshop for us and she said yes!

Time: 9:30 - 1:30 (4 hours)
Location: Cosy Cottage Yarns Shop 19, Pioneer Village, 7 Albany Highway, Armadale, WA 6122.

Facilitator
Sue Brown has been knitting most of her life, she has a fascination with nature and a love of photography. She has combined all three of her interests into her botanical knitting and embroidery technique.
Each of her botanical knitting pieces have a story to tell.
Duration of workshop:
During the four hour workshop you will learn the basics of silk embroidery stitches, how to make bee's, worms and a butterfly. You will embroider a little garden bed onto a knitted sampler. Plus techniques for using seed beads to embellish your garden bed.
Supplies
Sue Will Provide:
A workshop pack that contains the supplies for the workshop including the knitted sampler.
You will also receive a copy of Sue's Botanical Knitting 22 page ebook. This outlines the basics of her techniques for embroidering and beading on knitting or crochet.
What you need to bring:
All you need to bring is a reel of white sewing cotton thread and a pair of fine scissors and your lunch. Please note we don't have a microwave to heat food but there is a cafe in the village where you can buy lunch and coffee etc,
